Educational Gap
Interventional Pain Management is an emerging area of medicine that has become an effective alternative for chronic pain sufferers who have exhausted other treatment methods without success. Pain relief achieved by this method has dramatically improved patients' quality of life allowing them to interact with their family members in a more meaningful way. One of the main goals of interventional pain management is to alleviate patient fears and provide pain relief not only for the pain condition, but also during the interventional procedure through minimally invasive techniques. For this reason, pain specialists are forced to be in constant hands-on training and broadening their knowledge on these frequently changing techniques. This course has been designed to provide online didactic lectures by the finest minds in the interventional pain management field aligned with small group (7-8) cadaver lab training sessions, examination and ultrasound workshops, all in a real clinical environment to assure a unique learning experience based upon individual level of learning.
Intended Audience
This educational program is intended for pain specialists desiring to enhance their respective practices while interacting with established interventional experts and for newcomers to pain management who are desirous of gaining a broad-based exposure to standard pain management techniques.
Method of Participation
This applied-learning course consists of a combination of online and on-site instruction. This will allow participants to dedicate more time to hands-on practice in the training lab. In addition, attendees will also be grouped into Basic and Advanced tracks according to skill level. This program also offers ample opportunities to participants for free exploration and plenty of one-on-one interaction with our experts.
